In Loving Memory of Ted Curtin
-Gone, but not forgotten-
Founded in 1987 by the late Ted Curtin, CPP, CPMR, Repworks has served as a trusted manufacturer’s representative across Upstate New York and the six New England states. From its inception, the company’s mission has been to deliver top-tier sales and marketing services—combining results-driven distribution networks, technical and promotional support, and unwavering responsiveness backed by advanced CRM tools and meticulous account management.
Ted was more than a founder—he was an industry pillar. With over three decades in the New England sound, video, music, and security sectors, he held leadership roles such as National Vice President and Group Chair of the Electronic Systems Integration Group (eSIG) of ERA, served on ERA’s Board and Executive Committee for 14 years, chaired NSCA’s Representative Advisory Council, and contributed to the SIA’s membership committee. His dedication extended to training and educating others through both virtual and in-person sessions on security, camera, IP, and AV system design.
In loving memory of Ted Curtin, Repworks continues to uphold the standards he set: integrity, responsiveness, and excellence. His influence remains woven into every aspect of the company, inspiring the team to foster lasting relationships and deliver value to dealers, end-users, and manufacturers alike.
Today, under the leadership of Bryndis Curtin, CPMR, Ted’s daughter, Repworks proudly looks toward the future. As President, Bryndis brings deep industry knowledge, a forward-thinking approach, and a strong foundation in sales, data processing, and project management. She has expanded the company’s capabilities through enhanced CRM systems, data-driven sales strategies, and streamlined operations—ensuring Repworks remains agile, innovative, and highly responsive to the evolving needs of the security, AV, and communications industries. Deeply involved in the development and maintenance of Repworks’ cloud-based CRM and in-house publishing, Bryndis brings a personalized touch, meticulous follow-up, and steadfast commitment that manufacturers and dealers have come to trust. Committed to honoring her father’s legacy while forging her own path, she continues to focus on strategic growth—strengthening partnerships, broadening Repworks’ reach, and delivering exceptional results throughout the Northeast.
Also contributing to Repworks’ continued success is Chase Nelson, who joined the team in 2023 as a seasoned sales associate. Known for his excellent customer service, follow-up, and relationship-building skills, Chase brings fresh energy to the outside sales team, focusing on supporting end users, integrators, and distribution customers throughout the territory. He holds an IPVM Access Control 101 Certification and actively participates in industry organizations, serving on the boards of both NEACC and CASIA, and contributing as a member of SIA RISE and the SIA Mentorship Program. Chase has completed a variety of management and sales courses, further strengthening his ability to serve customers effectively. His dedication to customer success, paired with his technical knowledge and industry involvement, makes him a valuable asset to Repworks’ mission of responsive, high-touch representation.
In short, Repworks blends a legacy of leadership and community with modern, responsive representation—honoring Ted’s vision and continuing his mission through Bryndis’s capable guidance and Chase’s growing contributions.
